With the amount of forward forward movement and the speed of the ram-air canopies.....it would be like 100 skysharks in a feeding frenzy. It is hard enough to avoid entanglements with the big, slow chutes when you have 100+ jumpers in the air at night.

This is a pretty rare occurance, but my mortar squad leader did it. The sniper section was also recruiting privates from t...

This seems like an old topic.......but I feel that I could shed some light on the subject being a 11c from Battalion. When I joined the Army I told my recruiter I wanted to go to sniper school. My dreams of stalking through the brush were shot down when AIT started and I was assigned 11c. The mortar...

Thanks for your quick reply Donitz. There are two former rangers on our PRT (Primary Response Team, which is made up of the SWAT guys on regular patrol duties). They work out of different Divisions so I never see them to ask questions. My partner who is a former Marine just made the team so he has b...

Hey Donitz, I agree with ya on the Glock issue. I own a Glock 17C that I love to shoot. It is such a simple gun and very comfortable in the hands. our Rangemaster has something personal against the Glock for some reason. However many officers would love to carry a Glock. Hopefully when he retires th...
