Re: Obtaining a Ranger Contract at OSUT
You do NOT need a 110 to get into Regiment BUT you will definitely need it to get into all the "cool guy" schools to include Ranger School. I think you only need a 107 to get into Regiment.

OH, my mistake (I couldn't read the link). I thought you were talking about a wedding that HE crashed on accident. I will try to keep my pie-hole shut until I can open the link....

Re: 2nd Rangers WWII era question...
Funny thing, I just happen to have access to all of that. PM me with everything you know about this fellow. BTW, it is correct (as opposed to site policy) to capitalize 'rangers' when using a unit designation. Your post should refer to '2d Rangers'.
DON'T...

You were there? I believe he talked about this on his show. That's great! I wasn't able to open to link but he recently talked about being at a soldiers wedding and how great it was for him.

Re: Obtaining a Ranger Contract at OSUT
I have two boys who are leaving for basic in April. Neither of them have an Option 4 or an Option 40. They are both going in as 11X. I spoke with the Regimental Recruiting Team and they have said they can make it happen once they get down there. The key is the GT score and the level of physical fitn...

Great site! I think it is truly unique to see such a relatively small group of warriors that are so tight. You will never find another group like it. I was a local police officer and now a federal agent hoping to find such a tight brotherhood (and I haven't found it yet). I was in C Co 2/75 from 93-...

I was a private when SSG Larsen started kicking our asses and using Jiu Jitsu. (He went on to rewrite the combatives manual and is probably a black belt with the Gracies now.) We had the chance to have the Gracies come to Ft Lewis and play with us and then we went to CA to train with them. I had a B...

Strider Knives
I have just returned from the SHOT Show in Vegas. I have seen and used the Strider knives before and they are well worth the money if that is what you want. I went to their booth and spoke with all the guys there. There was even an old Vietnam Ranger (H company I think). These guys thought so much o...
