Re: SITREP-Ark
19 people didn't make it through basic training?! We had 8 from my OSUT platoon. That was in '92 when entrance standards were higher than they are now and the Army was in the process of booting 750k people out. The Army is doing another RiF so that maybe why. To add: This is not a "Back when i...

Re: RPG 7 for US Army ?
Sump sounds familiar but he might have been in another company. Deke was in C Co in the late 70s and 80s, I believe he went to B Co in the 90s. Deke was 1SG for B CO 95-96 time frame then HHC 1SG for a stretch. Then he went to USASMA and 10th MTN (I think), then BDE CSM for 1/25th when they convert...

Remove the "@" from your future posts. It is superfluous if you properly address a person on this board. This isn't Facebook or Twitter. We demand adherence to proper writing and grammar (within reason), due to the fact that you need to learn how to succinctly communicate orally and throug...

Re: RPG 7 for US Army ?
I still am a fan of the 90mm recoilless rifle. I still have a flechette arrow stuck behind my Ranger Tab on my patrol cap. Best 90 gunner I ever saw was Deke (CSM Carl Dietrich). In Puerto Rico around 81 or 82 he made a shot of around 12 to 1500 meters, if my old mind serves me right, and hit a sig...

Re: RPG 7 for US Army ?
Hope they are planning to somehow make it more accurate. I can count two incident where I should have been owned and the damn rocket missed me, then another that a rocket hit a vehicle in the side and did not detonate. Took off a side mirror though. Sent from my iPhone using rocks and sticks. You e...

I work as an assistant director, non-DGA, been in the business for about ten years. LA for 7 I worked with a bunch of AD's wrangling SAE (Special Ability Extras) and a ton of Second Unit Crew. What's your COA if he doesn't pass vetting? My experience with Hollywood is no one will give a shit if he'...

Your post makes my eyes and brain hurt.
Punctuate and use proper grammar. Read the stickies regarding site behavior. This isn't your Highschool where you're addressing a pack of lazy teachers or your mutt friends.

Met an assload of Posers, even worked for one that was outed by this board.

Federal Way Discount Guns also is a great place to shop and test drive. Never heard of it, but I'll have to check it out. I've been to Sportsman's Warehouse in Federal Way. They have a nice selection and a 10% Military discount. Sportsman's is a decent place to buy. FedWay Discount is where I shoot...
