Their calling it RASP now but its the same 4 week program as RIP. The 8 week RASP is suppose to start next year some time.

Our NCOIC let us know that the RIP program after the 1st of the year will be transformed into RASP. Ranger Assessment and Selection Program and that it would then be 8 weeks of instruction.
