For years I thought the 1911 was the ONLY gun, use to make fun of all the little sissys who carried plastic guns. Then I shot the Glock and became intricately familiar with the damn thing. I was wrong. Still love a 1911, but world's coming to an end and all Hell is coming down the highway with "...

Glock is the gun in my book! Carry one every day on duty (22) and off duty (19). Sig's are great guns, can't kill'em but very few people ever master that DA/SA trigger to the point that when under stress (2 way shooting range) they don't flub that second follow up shot and yank out of oblivion. DA o...

Finally got the Smith and Wesson rep out to the range. Shot their new 1911s in both stainless and iskandium. Damn good shooting guns, no complaints, but nod goes to the SIG handsdown. Of course being state agency it will come down to better deal

I bent one of the old M16A1 barrels like nothing on PLF on the ROCK upon return from Honduras in 86. Could of covered my six from the two. Once on trip to Dugway for Quick Force exercise, we left Savannah, went to Cambell to pick up SF team and then flew all the way out on 130. Upon going to altitud...

'Preciate the S-2. Went out and shot both today. 220 is just like 226 I carried in the sandbox (read "SWEET"). The 1911 has excellent trigger pull. We're gonna shoot the Smith 1911 also. Boss likes 1911s (which is what I was born and raised on so "good to go" with me. Locked and ...

My agency currently carries Glock 22s, but the new boss wants us to go .45, so next week I'll be heading out to the range to test the new SIG 1911 and also the P220. Now I have handled the new 1911, seems pretty sweet, great trigger and after carrying P226 in the box, I can say the SIG is an excelle...

LEE Enfield "Jungle Carbine". It's short, sweet, accurate and in.308 all I need for a variety of things. 870, gotta love it, especially today with all the specialty rounds in buck and dime combos. Handgun? Glock 19 with plenty of mags to include the 30 rounders made for the 17 for CQB. Goo...
