Re: Get out of the Army, or go SF ???
I I think unless you actually want to DO the UW/FID job, than you don't belong in SF. Otherwise your just gonna show up and not understand why you can't throw a flex linear on every door you come across haha. This is the most accurate statement when it comes to Rangers going SF. I've ran into a few...

Re: DRACO771 Re-Intro Nov 2011
So all I have to do is meet the ht/wt reqs, and the PFT reqs (3 miles in 18, 12 pull-ups, 120 crunches, blah blah blah, yada yada Are these the requirements or the max's? Are these specific to Force Recon? 3 in 18 just seems like it would be a max and not a requirement. Whatever you choose, good lu...

Re: Intro-From Russia with Respect
Development of Iranian Nuclear Weapon is UNSTOPPABLE. Unfortunately, you're probably right. Their main goal is to kill everyone. They lie, cheat, and lie some more in order to kill as many innocent people as possible. I hope for both our countries that they never get this capability...then again, R...

Powell, So you were "that guy"! Snafu, That depends on which "guy" you're referring to. I've been called "that guy" before but I may have to plead the fifth. :) Hahah, I hear ya. I saw you were a fellow RSD nerd so I had to give you some shit! You should make it back f...

Your WP version, then.
Please pay attention to the Russian assistance to Iran in opening one of their nuclear reactors. Now who in their right mind would help Iran when it comes to anything nuclear?

Your quote from President Reagan in your signature line is interesting. This is an exerpt from the same speech you refer to: "Look beyond the words, and one fact stands out: America's deterrence is more credible, and it is making the world a safer place -- safer because now there is less danger...

Negative, Rex. There's no way to equate these two conflicts. Our countries had very different reasons for what they did.Rex wrote: is something like WMD in Iraq:even worse than crime simply not very adequate understanding of situation on the ground

Re: 3.6% raise to VA disability compensation
What the gov't needs to do is re-evaluate some of the cases. I know a lot of guys who are simply getting something for nothing when it comes to their disabilities. Just because your toe hurts because you broke it in high school but claimed it anyway doesn't mean you should get a couple hundred a mon...

Re: Intro-From Russia with Respect
Why shouldn`t I be proud of victory over American trained,American equipped Georgian regular soldiers, who before served in Iraq! You're right. They were in Iraq up until Russia invaded and then they left within 2 weeks to go defend themselves. I was there and I'm going off of what Georgian Soldier...

Re: 3.6% raise to VA disability compensation
Are we sure this isn't just the annual raise for the '04 Congressional vote to match retirement pay and disability pay over 10 years? ie; in 2014, retired Vets will get 100% retirement and 100% disability.

Re: Vibram Five Fingers
I have seen a lot of the guys here just doing either the Rippie appearance (Tan shirt with the army shorts) or even going ranger panties with their unit shirts and getting around the rule all together. I don't know if you're in Bragg still, but I haven't seen anyone wearing anything like this. Unit...
