If you decide to wait until you're 18 then you'll have more time to do your PT & prepare yourself more fully to try to make it through RIP & all that goes before it. With the ability to pass a Ranger PT test you'll have the confidence to make it & get into a Ranger batallion.

Can you see a bunch of Rangers & sweaty old veterans availing theirselves of your services. Hopefully you offer some floral designs. Something to munch on while watching the game.

I can spare 5 bucks (I think). I'll be asking 200% interest though. Security work doesn't pay much.

Good for you, David!! You've got some time left to get in really great shape. Don't forget the PT. Start memorizing the Soldier's Creed & the Ranger's Creed if you haven't done so by now. 35K for 6 years!!??!! I'm lucky if I got a thousand at one time in my 27 years! Actually I think I got 5 gra...

The best of luck to you Kaiser! You deserve every penny that you can get & then some! I had 27 years of military service & am disgustingly healthy. I got a minor back injury by being a tad too close to an underwater detonation when in the Navy & further injured it in a jump in the Army. ...

Good on you Garrett! Do your enlisted time 1st then you can always go to OCS if you plan on staying in longer. The best officers I had were former enlisted men or Mustangs as they're known. Then there's always the Warrant Officer program. One of my favorite officers was a former Navy enlisted man. H...

I'm pullin' for Fred. So far he's the most coservative of the lot although I don't think he has a whiskey bottle's chance at a Ranger Rendevous! He' been said to be a bit lazy as far as campaining goes. He has a good solid conservative voting record. My second choice is John McCain. I'm not too keen...

Get the PT requirements for RIP, Pre- Ranger & Ranger School & give them to your fitness trainer. Doing weight work is fine but make sure you can do the pushups, pullups & situps required of you to meet your goal of becoming a Ranger. I wrestled from grade school on, lifted weights &...

Welcome home 1SG. You gotta be about my age so double welcome old timer! I did the same thing you did by coming back in but I stayed out 14 years. Sometimes it takes me a little while to understand things. Civilian life is not all that it's cracked up to be!
Thanks for your service.
