18x Age Waiver Denied

Rangers, I started another thread in the Enlistment Forum, but I will add the information here as well. I required an age exception in order to get the 18x contract (missed the cutoff by less than 2 months) and it has been denied. My options now seem to be: 1) Push hard for an OPT40 contract 2) Get ...

Welcome! Nice pics, what type of setup do you use? Army Veteran Jason113 Thanks. I use a Nikon D200 and/or D70 and Novatron strobes inside, usually with softbox or shoot through umbrellas. Outdoors, mostly available light with reflectors or an SB-800 flash. I usually keep it as simple as possible. ...

Hi, Seems to me your saying that Rangers will take you or anyone anytime but have to wait for something as special as 18X. I hope you remember that neither of these are a guarantee not even the cook job. Young studs bow out and go worldwide all the time and you want to try it even with being over t...

MEPS report

Rangers, I have just returned from MEPS. Everything is go, I am set to enter as E3 and I have Airborne qualified in my medical report, however they were not able to offer me a contract yet. As it turns out I will require an age exception in order to secure the 18x contract (I missed the age cutoff b...

Re: Introduction

Go SF. You will more than likely fit in there better than in a Ranger Battalion. The Matador has a good point. You might find that (while many SF-types disagree) SF operators tend to be more mature than the classical Ranger. Your skill as a photographer might come in handy; particularly in PsyOps o...

Welcome here young man. I have a couple of questions for you. Here you are 30 years old. Why NOW? Be honest and please dont assume you need to sing God Bless America for me. Im seeing more and more men at your age and even older doing this. Is it economic? Is it social? The war has been raging for ...

BTW, Who is that chick? She is freaking hot. Ranger Matador275, her name is Vianey and she was an aspiring model from Guatemala who came into the studio to have some portfolio work done. I have read through the FAQ's and stickies as you suggested, and have corrected my addressing of site members. T...

Ranger Fishboy, unfortunately I do not have any monkey pictures. I apologize for this, but hopefully posting more photos of girls will make up for it in some small way.

Welcome. Good introduction. Please explain your username. Is it anything like a 12-step program? My username is the English translation of "BaGua" which is a Chinese symbol used to illustrate natural cycles. It is often shown with the much more well-known "Yin Yang" http://www.l...

Introduction

Hello, my name is David and I am currently living in the North Atlanta area (Suwanee) and working as a photographer. I also teach martial arts a bit on the side, not for money but just to give back to the school that taught me. I am 30 years old and have decided it is time I signed up to serve. I am...
