Have you, by any chance, read the 'Yellow Green Beret' series of books?

I'll admit, when I was figuring out load outs I pretty much just copied what was recorded in the LRRP books I'd read. I figured those guys learned the hard way, so why not try to emulate them?

Do the Alaska gig, go back to school, finish the Associate's, train up in the process, enlist, go Ranger, use GI Bill, get Bachelors, get Masters, profit.
