i graduated airborne school in febuary. All you do is run to the airfield and after you jump, you run to the buses.

finally got my ranger school date
iv'e allready finished airborne school, I just finished reclassing to 11B and i report to Ranger school, class 7 on may 8th. This will be my third school this year.

just got my ROP class dates
i will be going through ion may 2nd to june 3rd. I still find it akward that they have me assigned to the regiment prior to me attending ROP. I don't know what to expect. I'll be assigned to them two weeks before going to my new AIT. no one seems to know a whole lot about what to expect in ROP.

I finally got my orders out of KOREA!!
I have my new school dates. I fly out on Dec 9th. BAC 21 JAN-11FEB, then my report date to 75th Ranger Regiment HQ is on 14 FEB, after that I go to 11B AIT 25 FEB- 26 April, and after all of that I go through ROP 2 MAY- 3rd June. My first report date to the 75th was on 30 June, but they changed it, ...

i just got my school dates
Ii'll be re-enlisting for my second time on wednesday. I go to airborne school in January, from there I go to infantry AIT and in May I go through ROP. I've been in for 5 1/2 years and now I'm going infantry, should be different, I'm ready though.

I think what Ranger BadMuther said is good for push ups. Me and my troops at work are doing reps of 30-40 every hour and at a incline by putting our feet on a chair. what job do knew ncos' have in the regiment.Meaning don't you need ranger school to be in any kind of leadership postion in the regiment, even after ROP? If i make through ROP, will they rush me to go to ranger school faster?

even if i am a mechanic, wouldn't i still fight like every other ranger in combat. im sure if i make it i would be expected to know and learn infantry tatics too. If not, i would volunteer. not that i care to much what others think about me being a mechanic. I just wanted to know if mechanics are treated different in the regiment becuase they are not infantry.
