Re: Heat Casualty
You know, I really do not know why you remain predisposed to further heat injuries after you suffer from one. We will need to get one of the real docs to weigh in on that one. Regardless of the attitude of the docs that are failing to treat you seriously, get your lab work done. If nothing else, it ...

Re: Well, this sucks
Get that shit heavily documented, and then make certain that you squirrel copies of the medical records away in hard copy. Maintain a complete set of parallel medical files. When the day comes for you to hang up the ruck, those files will be worth their weight in gold when you go sit down with the VA.

Re: Heat Casualty
Bro, you need to get some blood work done, and some urinalysis. No shit. This is not a trivial matter. You need to ensure that your body is recovered before you put yourself into that situation again. You also need to remember that once you are a heat casualty, that you can go down faster and easier...

Max-T!
Now, there you go, telling stories on me....
;)
Now tell the one about how you and your buddies got left at Grand Anse.
That story is a great one.
Welcome, bro. I am glad that you found this place. It is just like being back in the old Battalion barracks.

Re: CIA hired contractors to hit Al Qaida
The whole thing is a tempest in a teapot. Cofer Black is a principal at Xe/BW. The "contracts" referred to were with individual mucketymucks at Xe--not with the firm itself. It is entirely reasonable for Cofer Black to remain under contract w his old shop. I also would not find it surprisi...

Re: Ranger John Dingle
What a complete fuckwit. I'm having a hard time believing this is for real. RLTW EP I got to agree. I think that I remember John Dingle...he was, as I remember, a fairly quiet, big dude. He was a Ranger in B Co, but that is all that I really remember about him. I probably could not pick him out of ...

Re: CSM Leon-Guerrero
I remember when he used to yell, "squeeze my left nut, Sergeant Birch!" My face hurts from laughing at this one...was there some reason, or story behind that? As I remember it, LG made an error of some kind, some kind of mistake, and he yelled "squeeze my left nut, Sergeant Birch!&qu...

Let me redeem this thread by stating that the word for "milk" in Thai is nom. Nom is also the word for "tits."

Well that's just great.
Whatever. It is not like I am sitting on my front porch every day before going to the dollar store to spend my food stamps.

Re: The VA Maze
Do we have to file a tax return to receive that stimulus check?
I have not received a letter from the VA about this money.
I generally do not have to file a return, as I live on my VA pension (100% service connected, combat related).
Thanks.

I remember when he used to yell, "squeeze my left nut, Sergeant Birch!"
Or, "where are my healers!"
I loved the man back in the day, and still do.
