Just graduated Airborne today. I love the prop blast of the C-130, that's the best part of the jump but overall the C-17 is a far better plane to jump from, in my 5 jump experience  . I fucked up my knee pretty good on my 4th jump, there wasn't any wind so I just came down like a sack of rocks ...

Those short little runs(more like stomps) back and forth from the company area are what bother my legs the most(shin ...

Home for Christmas(SITREP included)

Been a while, but now that I am at home I can give a SITREP. We just finished up BRM and I qualified with a disappointing 25/40, very shitty, a lot of it had to do with trigger squeeze and not taking my time, I know I could have done better because I was shooting in the 30's on the practice range ...

My turn

I ship out tomorrow and before I leave, I just wanted to thank all the Rangers and Vets for providing all this great information to better prepare all of us. I'll give SITREPs when I can and when shit gets tough, FIDO!

Message board posting and you

I came across this link on another forum. This link has the added benefit of being educational for those who don't know how to use the search button or how to read stickies.

Long time lurker introducing himself

Hi, my name is Steve, I'm from Chicago, Illinois(well one of the suburbs of it) and I'm 21 years old and go to a small community College. About a month ago, I decided the time was right to start the process to finding a Ranger contract. And as of today I signed my 11x/abn/option40 contract, where I ...
