I have always wondered why Ret. Col Bob Howard has not been nominated to the Ranger hall of Fame? He was A co 2/75s First CO and of course CMOH winner, DSC and the most decorated man of the Vietnam war while he was with SOG. I was unfortunate enough to have attended SF scuba school and it was a bitch of a school. I also attended the USMC scout swimmer school at San Diego. The contact I had with the post Vietnam War SEALs did NOT impress me at ALL. They are NOT tactically or technically proficient in land born operations...

I have to admit I loved torturing the fuck out of RIP students when I was a RIP instructor back in the late 70s. We were so rough on them they made us move it to North Fort Lewis.
