At what point would i be possibly deployed. I have the 11X Option 40. Would it be after RIP or would I have to wait until i get through Ranger school?

Right after RIP when you receive and are assigned to a Ranger Bn or Regimental HQ. There are many who went right after RIP to Panama. However, mission requirements dictate and there is no guarantee that you would go if your unit went. You could be 'in the rear - with the gear'. It all depends on how harrowing the mission is, and if everyone goes, or just a select few. Not everyone goes on every mission.
The important thing to remember is that it doesn't matter what my answer is. What matters is that you simply make it through RIP. Until you do, this is all academic BS.
