Re: going to ranger school
Are you an E5 (Notice I at least respect the grade enough to have capitalized it) or are you a fucking Sergeant?indyguy232000 wrote:i am an e-5 in the army
If the above is true then you have not met the standards for the Army. There is nothing secret or mysterious about a 5 mile run. I wouldn't worry too much about a 12 mile Foot March (Mech units do Road Marches, Rangers do Foot Marches) because it is a 16 Mile Foot March in Ranger school. Just kick back and drink beer with your e5 buddies. It's easy and you shouldn't concern yourself with the details!indyguy232000 wrote:and heading to ranger school in april of this year was just wondering about a program i seen on the internet for a workout before you get there it is on the ft benning web site so relying on it to get me prepared. but it is only a 5 week program from experiance of you guys that have been is 5 weeks enough time to get in the shape you need to be in I am in alright shape now but dont feel i am ready to head into ranger school and not struggle really bad have done the 12mile road march and the 5 mile run what other things should i be really worried about
