Heh, I was lagging behind in welcomes, and the wife was wrapping presents after the little guy decided to crash early.

You haven't met my wife. In a day or so she'll be in full-on Christmas mode, making all kinds of fattening treats for me to take to work.

Ranger BeadleBug, it is a carefully planned strategic move designed to decrease my exposure to ground fire should I ever have to exit a fast-moving aircraft via parachute over hostile territory. It all hinges on executing a proper PLF so as to avoid injury.

I have it on good authority from Mr. Beer that this is a sound plan.

Did I mention my wife is Italian?
