Class 12-75??

Post by ParaPete »

I didnt post an intro because I did quite some time ago. I have been AWOL for a while mostly because I usually am posting on paratrooper.net.

I really just logged on because I was on a bulletin board and someone claimed to have gone through Ranger school and said they were in Class 12-75. So I went to the Ranger Training Brigade website to look up their class photo and low and behold, there IS NO PHOTO for class 12-75. Now that could be simply because they dont have that photo OR the dude is a POSEUR and there was no 12-75 class.

Can anyone clear this up for me?

Here is the link to the post:

Para,
Photos from the earlier classes are less likely to be on the web. So the lack of a photo is not a good disqualifier.

Just cause there is no picture doesn't mean that there wasn't a class.

So Bubba, this is another one. Ya got the best dam nose I ever heard of. Not 9. He was 5 and a 1/2 when he went to RS. So following your math, it couldn't have been 75, or even 85 (he was only 15 then). That means 95 since I am staying on the 5's. Dam you are still so dam good Bubba.

Hmmm so it seems it still up in the air. That brings me to my previous question...was there a class 12-75??? If not, then we know he is FOS, if there was then he probably is legit.

I dont want to call him out unless I am sure he is posing.

thanks for the help so far!!!

Ok here is the skinny...
The guy appears to be completely legit...
-----------------------------
I'll change my Profile: they all default to 1969! I was born 31 December 1952. USMA 1975, having enlisted in 1970. Had orders to RVN when I was VOCO to USMA Prep School. The rest is old history. But I may have a book in me!

Nice to meet you. When did you did Ranger School? I was there August-December 1975.
------------------------------

I never told the guy I went to Ranger School so I don't know why he's asking me that. Maybe he thinks since I was calling him on it that I went as well? *shrug*
