Suggestions?

My name is Albert and I was referred to this site by a friend. I am in the army reserve right now as a 12b. My release papers from my unit have been signed and I just received them today. What route would I have to take so that I could go active duty and get a RIP option in my contract, if that is even possible? I have been talking with a recruiter but he keeps trying to make me go active as a 12B. He also says it's impossible to change my MOS and get a RIP option. Are there any suggestions on what I can do?
