Intro

Post by jstullos »

Hello everyone :)

So I made the mistake of not posting an intro thread, so here it is.

I am 29 years old and am looking/talking to a recruiter about joining the Army. I initially wanted an 18x contract however getting 4 points shy of the gt score needed I don't qualify to go that route. My next option is 75th Ranger Regiment. Hence the reason I'm here. I'm looking and research the best option for me and what I want to do. I have also felt compelled to serve and feel as if I need to. I had some setbacks when I tried joining when I was younger. So I'm here now.
I currently coach and personal train. I enjoy helping others and seeing them progress. I also enjoy all things adrenal packed and adventure.
Right now I'm in the process of picking a job and getting ready for meps however I don't want to join without what I want in contract which is looking at an 11x option 40 (which my recruiter said there weren't any slots for that but to go 11x and you can have the chance in OSUT to get a slot)(i don't really want to leave it up to chance but rather my hard work and dedication with a slot to go before OSUT).
Either way that's a bit about me. Sorry I didn't do this first. :)
