Great SITREP. Congratulations on earning a BAC & RASP slot. I'm proud of your accomplishment. Hope you picked up as much information on this site as you will need. Never, never quit!

Re: SITREP- Trent
Congratulations on earning your Contract!
As an uninitiated civilian when you first began Physical Training, did you think we were bullshitting you when you were first told the scores you would need on your APFT? That's a serious question, by the way. I've often wondered that when I see some couch-potato DEP post scores like: PU..............5
SU..............22
2 mile run.....15:58 (I could only do 1 mile)
and then one of us gives him the news that his scores are going to have to be where yours are if he is even to have a Prayer of becoming a Ranger.

Damn brother great scores! Congratulations on getting your contract. If you have time to reply man, I was just wondering how difficult it was to obtain that RASP slot in AIT? I'm trying to weigh my options when i get out of the Navy on which route to choose. Any insight would be much appreciated. Keep it up man!Squidney wrote: PU: 90

Re: SITREP- Trent
I'm very sorry Ranger Jim, still trying to figure out the do's and don'ts of the site. Won't happen again.

Re: SITREP- Trent
Please update your SITREP and tell us how Pre-RASP is going. Never, never quit!Squidney wrote:Good Afternoon Rangers,
Today I took the Pre-RASP pt test.
I scored:
83 PU
92 SU
12:51 2 mile
11 pull ups
My scores have been much better in the past, I would like to get an all time personal record in all events by the end of RASP.
Pre-RASP mostly consists of guarding rocks, admin work, and studying all Ranger Knowledge. To all future soldiers please actually study and use this time to square yourselves away.
I look forward to starting RASP and actually training next week when we class up

Re: SITREP- Trent
Squidney, excellent sitrep. Good advice to the future Rangers but keep your eyes on your own 25 meter target - getting you tan beret. Stay focused, keep driving on, never, never quit.
All you other aspiring Rangers heed what this RASP candidate says to you in his post above mine. Squidney is actually doing what it takes to do to be a Ranger.
