Introduction Mustang

Hello Rangers, and all the other members on this board. My name is Mike, (and in my head, I've somehow been given the codename "Mustang.") I'm 16, and a Ranger hopeful.

I've been just trying to larn as much as I can, becasue at this point, I wan't to make a career out of the Army. So I'm pretty much here to learn how to get in, and how to not mess up to badly during training.

I'm big into airsoft, and as much as I resent the "Airsoft Fag" comment in the FAQ, I don't think playing it makes me anything special. Just something to hold me oever until I can do something really exciting.

I live in backwoods New York, and the school doesn't even have a recruiter that comes around. Oh yeah, and it doesn't help that nearly everyone I know is completley Liberall. Oh the stories I could tell...

Anyway, just saying hi, and doing what I'm told.

(Oh yeah, is my avatar okay? Or should I pick one from the presets?)

1) You are obviously trying to use an unauthorized avatar, pick one from the Newts or Newt2 selections.

2) We don't do airsoft, so don't mention it again.

3) Make sure you read and understand the FAQ's and all the announcements and stickies at the top of each forum.

I don't believe you. I believe that all or most of you airsoft fags probably consider yourselves highly trained soldiers, because of your 'game'.

When you grow up you will realize that air-softers are fags! I will put my kit against a fag's anyday. Pretend is fatasy, reality is death. Don't talk about airsoft again.

Advice... drop that running around in the woods with a toy gun bullshit and start doing PT. Learn from this site, get an OPT 40 contract, and grab your balls.

Mike, You are a guest in our house. You came here of your own will. It appears that you want to join us. However in order for you to serve as a member of the 75th Ranger Regiment you will be expected to earn your own place. Each of us have earned our place -- and right now, at age 16 you have a long way to go. Hopefully, the DEPs have contacted you and you will begin to respond properly. Frankly, at this point, you have not earned the right to be offended by anything you see on this site.

maybe "airsoft range instructor" is a better occupation for you...don't "resent" another thing you ever read on here, if you want any help from us. And no, it DOES NOT make you special...it's not even close to special...the members of this site ARE a special kinda folk...and if you really think you want to join in what we did/do...read a lot... respond very little... and soak up the knowledge that is given.

You don't need a recruiter yet...you need an english teacher to help you with your spelling...do they come around sometimes??? And at 16 you don't know anyone...don't worry about it...and save the stories...they aren't as interesting as you might think
