My uncle lives in one of these things. He lives in SE Colorado highs up to 110 lows to -30. Costs $5 a month to heat or cool it. Costs about $35k per 1k foot of floor space. Internal space is whatever you need it to be, none of the internal structure is load bearing. The only fixed anything is plumbing.
