Sitrep - allthegundams

Post by allthegundams »

Hello Rangers,

I just wanted to give you all an update and let you know that I have graduated OSUT and turned blue. I am now in airborne school and on weekend. We should take a pt test on Monday and then start ground week. I'll try to keep you all updated as best as possible.

Ranger Jim,

I think I may have met a few, but I'm not sure. The issue is that most of my graduating company had option 40 contracts. Well... maybe not most but no less than 30% I would say had a RASP contract or an 18x contract so more than likely I bumped into someone from this site, but again I'm not sure.

Good job stud, but don't get all proud yet... Chicks graduate ABN School all the time... Keep your head down, knock it out, and get on to the important stuff.

I hear that Ranger Affirm369. For me its college all over again. I've been trying to take as much advantage as I can with my free time but its still difficult to get everything done.

Ranger Jim,

Ground week is very far behind me at this point as I am now a paratrooper officially. We got our silver wings today. My current status is that I am looking at a PT test on Monday to determine whether or not I can get into RASP right now. If I don't pass it or if they simply decide to I will get put in pre-RASP hold until August. I honestly don't feel that I am still ready as my body is completely wrecked from airborne school. I will obviously still try my best however and do what I can to get in ASAP but I would like the time to get back into good physical condition.

Rangers,

I have entered pre-RASP. We may be shipping to RASP this Friday but we aren't sure.

Rangers, I was dropped from RASP due to a PT test failure. I was told because I didn't quit that I could reapply in 6 months for selection. I am currently in worldwide awaiting assignment to more than likely the 82nd.
