We are the most violent nation on earth. We are the most heavily armed. I don't say this as a bad thing. We are all men of violence. It is controlled, but if the switch is flipped we can do incredible destruction. The last time we decided to kill each other we left 2% of the population dead. While that may not seem like much, translated into today's numbers that would mean almost seven million dead. That was also done using swords and muskets. I too think the tree of liberty needs to be refreshed, but I do not want to see a civil war. None of us will live through it. Though that will most likely not scare us, most of our children will not live through it either.
