3-D Built Guns Worry Activist

Post by Flesh Thorn »

You can not make this stuff up.....

Downloading a gun's design plans to your computer, building it on a three-dimensional printer and firing it minutes later. No background checks, no questions asked.
Sound far-fetched? It's not. And that is disquieting for gun control advocates.
Rep. Steven Israel, D-NY, said the prospect of such guns becoming reality is reason enough for the renewal of the Undetectable Firearms Act, which makes illegal the building of guns that can't be detected by X-ray or metallic scanners. That law expires at the end of 2013.

I'm thinking let's perfect that technology and print out some medical aid.
No doubt. We can make Jim a Paris Hilton.

It's been a while Lefty but the last time I drank with Jim I just can't see him in a mini skirt and blonde wig.

Don't worry Jim, one of these days she'll get around to you.

Funny, my mind went immediately to this when I thought of the 'new' AWB.

Opponents can't fathom that guns are dumb technology, most developed before electricity. My iPhone is a space tool compared to a 1911. You can make this stuff in your garage with a little research and some Home Depot tools. Even the dreaded AR platform is 65 years old.

The industry hasn't been forced to get past a certain level of development, yet. My bet is that they will as regulations pick up. I foresee chips and microprocessors in guns within the next 20 years.

Isn't using a 3-D printer to make a Paris Hilton overkill? She's not much thicker than a sheet of paper anyway, so you may as well just save your money and use a regular ol' 2-D printer!

I think, statistically speaking, that she will have to get around to Jim eventually. There's a finite supply of dicks, you know.
