Standard Ranger Hair Cut?

Post by bulletsponge »

Out of pure curiosity Rangers, id like to know what the most common hairstyle is amongst veteran Rangers. Not the men fresh out of R.S or those attempting to "Make a Statement"
Id be gratefull if a knowledgeable individual would kindly satisfy my curiosity.

Ranger Cams. I will gladly explain what kind of question that is.

Ive been told of soldiers wearing the Mohawk as well as the standard high and tight. And I have ALSO been told that both are frowned upon by the older Rangers. Which brings me to the conclusion that there is another hair style that is acceptable amongst the 75th.

AR670-1.

By the way, you're a Veteran, you don't need to address me as Ranger. I figure you have (or at least hope you do) a good reason for your question.

The days of the high and tight/mohawk are far gone. The standard is AR 670-1, although the average big army soldier may find that Regiments interpretation of that particular regulation to be a bit different than the rest of the Army's.

Then again the Regiments version of the H&T wasn't exactly to 670-(whatever some shit bag CSM wants it to be)1, either.

I don't think the point is to keep your hair as long as possible, the point is to look professional. If you want to be treated as a professional, you better look like one.
