Rangers, On May 9th with PerryB's help my recruiter was able to get my contract updated with an option 40. Thanks PerryB. I filled out a packet for the security clearance and was told that someone would call me to ask more questions but it's been a month and no call. My recruiter told me that sometimes they don't call and not to worry about it. Does this sound right. Thanks for any reply.

The opt. 40 only requires a secret, sometimes they will conduct an additional interview, but most of the time they don't. A TS on the other hand will always require additional interviews
