Introduction - Martine

Post by Martine »

Hello Rangers and all,

My name is Martine. I am 24 years old and a college graduate. I enlisted in the Army one week ago. I have a 13F contract with option 40. I ship for basic May 7th, 2012. I am a highly motivated individual, and I am excited to get underway with my chosen path and MOS.

I have joined this site to gain valuable information and advice to help guide me towards my ultimate goal of being able to include myself among your ranks as an Army Ranger.

Thank you

Rangers,

An update: I am two weeks away from shipping from MEPS to Ft. Benning. I am actively eating up every bit of information I can to facilitate my learning processes with added attention to land navigation (in regards to my selected MOS of 13F).

My PFA is on par with a 1/1/1 PT score of 65 Pushups, 60 Situps, 6 min 1 mile. I did a 5 mile run at just over 30 minutes. I can max out a PFT.

I am anxious to begin BCT. I look forward to being given the chance to go to RASP and take my shot at becoming a Ranger. I am keeping myself out of trouble at all costs, and I am wrapping up any loose ends I have at home. I have even ordered a Ranger handbook, and am awaiting its arrival.

From your experience, is there any thing additional I should be paying attention to prior to shipping? Is there anything I should take special care with at BCT?

Thank you
Martine
