RS SITREP

Post by leroyjenkins »

Rangers,

I said I would make it back to Ranger School after being dropped for failing RAP Week in October, and I am back. I classed up 01 Jan (Class 03-12) and made it through to Darby. I was recycled for failing patrols and I am currently in Vaughn's PLT awaiting insert into 04-12's Darby Phase. So far, RS isn't too terribly difficult. I screwed up in patrols (the last one, I'm still convinced I should have received a GO) so I had to pay the piper and start over. Being an insert at least gives me some time to heal my fingers (a few are split open from the cold) and allows me to regain feeling in them, so I'm not too butt hurt. I'm just going to spend my free time (which is more than I can stand) and study my boards and battle drills so I don't have a repeat of last time. Hopefully I will be back on here in March to write about how awesome it is to graduate. Quitting is not an option, nor was it ever.
