New Introduction

Post by bigjohn »

I'm bigjohn. Thought I'd finally jump in. I was in the Army from 1968-1970, Basic at Ft. Ord, AIT at Ft. Lewis, 11B, finished jump school in November of '68, then after a cycle with an AIT unit at Ft. Ord got to Nam in April of '69, where I was assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade. I was wounded by a B40 rocket the middle of August and after a month in Japan I was sent back to the world and did a little over 11 months at Letterman in San Francisco and was retired for permanent disability.
