Interesting, as I live in Virginia. I do have a Purple Heart (PH) license plate on my car. Virginia has a procedure for vetting PH plates. I had to provide proof that I had a PH; I sent a copy of my DD-214. Do you plan to have a similar procedure for Ranger? We do not need to have some 16-year old punk or other wannabee sporting our colors.
