Intro: C Co. 1/75th 83-84

Post by Rhino Ridges »

Hello all, I joined to see if there are any "Hardrock Charlie" members from 83-84, and perhaps to share some of the pictures I took back then. I was in 1st pltn Wpns squad and though I was somewhat of a skinny "drone," I'm still proud I was there at all. Rangers Lead the Way! - John

Yeah, I was in C-1-1 from '83 to '86. Harvey Moore's squad when I got there.

Headoutdaplane, Its been a long time, so I'm not 100% sure, but I believe this is SSG Harvey Moore loading rangers on a helicopter the morning after jumping into Germany for REFORGER 83 or 84 (can't remember the year we went to REFORGER either). Were you there for that? - John

Must have been early 83 I wasn't there. One of the guys, can't remember his name right now, but he was from Alabama rode his ruck in and busted his knees up pretty bad on that jump.
