Introduction Blast Double
Hello Rangers,
My name is James (blast double) from St. Louis, missoui. I'm 20 years old and a 92Y Opt. 40 candidate. I am completed BCT recently at Fort Sill and now at Fort Lee. After sitting and rotting in reception for a week in a half I'm finally with Bravo company 266th QM BN. We just took our first
PT test and got 74 push ups, 84 sit ups and 12:34 two mile. Although I'm happy to max out I'm still bother by the fact that I don't think I pushed hard enough.
A little about me! I wrestled in college at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I loved every bit of it. One day I was hanging out with my parents which are both St. Louis County cops and instilled discipline to me and my twin sister from a young age and I decided I wanted to enlist. I respect every single one of you Rangers and your families for the sacrifices you have made for our country. I would also like some advise if anyone could help me out. I work out like crazy as much as I can, but would like some different things. Also maybe some advise about RASP.
Thank you Rangers for your time.
P.s. I don't have my computer yet so this is from my phone so please forgive me if it's improper or hard to read.

Welcome young trainee. I moved your intro here because you've finished BCT you qualify as a soldier now. Good luck on your journey.

Re: Introduction Blast Double
Welcome aboard and congrats on your success so far.
If you want advise, it's read, read, read. There are already multiple threads in the different categories here covering a variety of topics (including RASP and PT). Make the search feature your friend and I would imagine you will find the answer to most of your questions. For those you can't find, post your questions in the appropriate sub-forum and I'm sure you'll get an appropriate response.
And as far as advice concerning RASP, here's some. DON'T EFFING QUIT!!!!!!!!!!!! Make the medics drag your cold lifeless body off of Cole Range before you quit.

Re: Introduction Blast Double
Hello Rangers,
I wanted to follow up on my progress from AIT. I graduate Thursday 11th and unfortunately going to be stuck in Fort Lee as a Airborne holdover. I ended my AIT with the highest EOC PT test and also receiving a promotion. I'm working hard every day and study some from my Ranger Handbook every night counting down the days until I start real training. Thanks again for the advice and hope all is well for all you.

Ranger Jim
First of all I want to thank everyone for the replies. As to answering your question Ranger Jim, some of my major deciding factors were serving with the best of the best and getting as much training as I could from the military while I'm in. I also want to prove to myself that I have it in me just like I walked on to a division 1 wrestling team. Sorry if I did not give the answer you were looking for Ranger Jim but feel free to ask me anything.

Congrats on becoming a cherry jumper BD. The herd has been culled pretty well by now.
The best guidance for RASP is DON'T QUIT. The rest is easy, so long as they can't kill you.
