Do realize that while there are a significant number of Marines who want to become Rangers, you don't see a lot of Rangers bothering to become Marines.

29 palms is a Marine Hell Hole, so I'm not surprised.

Jarheads will do anything to get out of 29 palms. Smart move, if you ask me. Too bad Rangers aren't quite that smart.

I'd rather go to RS and play wet nurse to a bunch of dogface marine wannabees ... than be stationed at 29 palms.

When the Marine Corps flew me to Okinawa, they had to charter a separate 747 ... just to carry my "package".
