Do realize that while there are a significant number of Marines who want to become Rangers, you don't see a lot of Rangers bothering to become Marines.

Marines - Because sometimes the Navy isn't "butch" enough.

So the Marines have had the motto "looking for a few good men" for some 30 years now.

Haven't they found any? At least a few?

Yeah, the thing is, many of us are well past the dick measuring contest stage. I just can't be bothered to put that much focus on insulting Marines.

Unless of course you are French, then it's Game On.

Marines ... want to become Rangers
No shit, ... who in their right fucking mind would want to live the inglorious life of a God Damned fucking Marine Corp infantry grunt.

29 palms is a Marine Hell Hole, so I'm not surprised.

Jarheads will do anything to get out of 29 palms. Smart move, if you ask me. Too bad Rangers aren't quite that smart.

I'd rather go to RS and play wet nurse to a bunch of dogface marine wannabees ... than be stationed at 29 palms.

"27mm, Gunny. Does that break the record?"
Whoever told you that story must have stuttered ... m-m-m-m-m-m ... its only one "m".

When the Marine Corps flew me to Okinawa, they had to charter a separate 747 ... just to carry my "package".
