Hey Jim, glad to hear your enjoying RIP Hold so well. I just graduated Class 09-04, so I know what your going through in holdover. Just remember to do extra PT in the evenings, whether it be weightlifting or some type of cardio.
You must stay focused on RIP and STAY THE FUCK AWAY FROM THE WW SHITBAGS!!!! If you haven't already done so, get with a group of guys that really want to become Rangers. That's what I did, so I was pushed harder mentally and physically by my Ranger Buddies.
Try to educate yourself as much as you can before posting. There is a wealth of knowledge here from Rangers that have BTDT. If you look at my post count, it is only 8 since I became a member here back in June 03. That is because everything I needed to know was found using the search engine, or if I couldn't find what I was looking for I would PM one of the Rangers on the website.
Although you will be considered a Ranger upon completion RIP, until you prove yourself in battalion, you ain't shit (never forget this). This goes for me to, because I haven't reported to Battalion yet.
Remember to live the Ranger Creed every day, every hour of the day, and never give up.
Good luck in RIP!
RLTW!
The joys of RIP Holdover
Haven't been on in a while, but we had Cole range this past week. Like i told my friend, it was a walk in the park...If that park were on fire and there were guys with chainsaws chasing after me. I didn't count, but someone said we hit the woodline about 60 times. I think that sounds a little high for 2 1/2 days, but it's probably true. Testing, shooting, and graduation coming up next.
Chuck Norris' tears cure cancer. It's too bad he has never cried.
