Introduction-D**** FUTURE SOLDIER

Post by FSDerek »

Hello Rangers and Deppers. My name is D****, I'm 18 and a high school graduate. I'm the PG for the Future Soldier platoon at my recruiting office.
I enlisted in the Army August 19 2010. I have an 11x Contract with option 40 and I ship for basic on January 10 2011. I'm looking forward to getting more information about Rangers, from Rangers.

I am not "most people". I am stronger than most people. Average people compare themselves with other people, that is why they are average. I compare myself to my potential. I am not average.

Welcome and congratulations for enlisting with an opportunity to serve as an Army Ranger. Good luck to you with "luck" meaning preparedness meeting opportunity. You have the opportunity. Now it's up to you to be prepared and make your own good luck. Post the results of a PT test to include pull-ups and be sure to read and heed the ROE PM I have sent you.

We took a PFT last Thursday at Future Soldier, should I post the results here or to a different forum?

OK, so now you have a baseline for your PT. Looks like you have just over two months to improve your performance. Never, never quit!

I've been working to get my Pushups and Situps over 100 and my Pullups to 15+. I ruck every once in a while, usually when I can borrow one from one from one of the recruiters. I could really use some help regarding PT. I posted a request in the Mentor forum, but I'm still waiting on a reply.
