My Introduction

Post by cwolf23 »

Greetings Rangers,

I'm an active duty SPC fresh off my first deployment (Iraq). My unit was Task Force ODIN, I can't give many details (OPSEC), but there's a good wikipedia page that discusses it. (I swear I'm legit! haha)

While there, I did everything I possibly could to be put on assignment to Regiment, and for awhile it looked like it wasn't going to happen. I reenlisted for 5 years so that I could have the chance to receive and Airborne and RASP I slot, and I got it! So now I'm scheduled to attend Airborne school in January, then RASP I in February. Upon completion of both courses, I'm slotted for RSTB (I'm a 35G).

I'm looking forward to learning whatever knowledge you are willing to share, I'm in this for the long haul.

Thank you, Rangers!

Ranger Driver: Thank you, & I've been running twice a day since I've been back. I received a 6-week training program with my RASP I packet, so I'll be doing a few cycles of that before I get there.
