Rangers,
I'm a 25P(microwave radio guy) and will be assigned to the 75th RSTB. The 75th signal CSM told me that I will be there for a while because I will be the ONLY 25P in the Regiment if/when I get there. Does anyone know what kind of job i will actually do? I just don't want to sit in a cubicle all day. What about deployments? Will I be attached to other battalions?
Thanks for any advice.

That's not really true. Just tell your Platoon Daddy that it doesn't really fit your schedule, he'll take care of you. Trust me.Baseplate wrote:Plus you don't really think the 75th care what you want do you?

Stud I don't have a frikkin' clue what a "25P" does, but I 'll give you this much, at some point in your career you'll be able to proudly say in a "Loud and Thunderous Voice"
"If you weren't the first 25P in RSTB, GET THE @#%^ DOWN!"
Could be worth some beer too! I'm jus' sayin'
Thank you for your service!!!

Re: RSTB
haha that reminds of the rigger i went through RIP with. Apparently he was the first rigger to graduate RIP (as opposed to just going straight to batt. and wearing a maroon beret). My class arrived in savannah the day that they had the graduation ceremony for all the E co. guys who apparently did some sort of in house RIP, so that they could wear the Tan Beret. Long story short, there were alot of unhappy folks my first day in battalion, to include the NCO's that picked us up at stewart. if you were sitting next to a 'soft skill' guy (like me sitting next to rigger), you spent the 45 min. drive from stewart to HAAF in the 'elevated' (upside down) push up position. beginning of a long day....
