Rangers, yesterday was the first day I was cleared by my Doc do begin doing cardio since undergoing a septoplasty 3 weeks ago. I had not been able to do any sort of activity for a entire month but I can finally breathe out of my nose for the first time in my life, definitely worth it. I decided to go for two distance runs, one yesterday and one today.
3-Mile: 23 mins 35 seconds
5-Mile 48 mins 55 seconds
Running has always been a weak point for me but I have been working hard at it since wrestling ended. I plan on running my APFT two mile distance in a few days once my legs are recovered. I am also going to start interval runs for the first time in order to get my two mile pace to pick up.
