Introduction

Post by merlyn »

My name is Merlyn. I served in the Army Medical Corp
from 1976 to 1982. I gave medical support to Reforger 79,
served with the 41st M.A.S.H. unit, and the 3/507 Air Am-
lance at Ft. Hood, Ft. Sam Houston and Ft. Polk. I was an
E5, and held the MOS of 91B, 91C and 91V. I am proud of
having the opportunity to serve my country, in the capa-
city of a soldier. It was an invaluable experience, not to be
traded for anything. I am a graduate of the University of
Toledo, where I competed on an athletic scholarship for
track & field. When I was at Ft. Polk, my commander sent
me to the U.S. Modern Pentathalon Training Center to
interview for an assistant coaching position. I will close
this introduction by saying that the most precious possession
an individual can have is honor. Without honor, we have
nothing. I am not a Ranger, however I am a brother in arms.
Thank you. HOOAH
