Introduction - Adrian

Post by HamilcarB »

Hello Rangers. My name is Adrian and I am interested in enlisting active duty in the United States Army with an Option 40.

Background: I’m 24, Hispanic, speak Spanish fluently, and I recently graduated college in Miami. Since then I’ve been working at a local dive shop where I’m at the level of rescue diver.

Physical fitness: Just started getting back in shape about two months ago. I used to be in USMC officer program and I was in pretty good shape at that time. However, I haven’t worked out since I’ve been disqualified (tattoo) about 2-3 years ago. I have not given myself a PFT yet, but I know I’m nowhere near where I was and need to be, especially if I want to consider having a shot at the joining the 75th Ranger Regiment.

I also want to say that I appreciate the work you Rangers do and the establishment of this forum. I know you don’t need to be here helping and informing us, but yet you still do.

Welcome. Your interest in serving our country as an Army Ranger is appreciated. Since you know you're not in shape, how about giving yourself at PT test plus how many pull-ups you can do, with palms facing you. That way you'll be able to devise a plan to get you where you need to be and also be able to measure your progress. Be sure to read and heed the ROE PM I have sent you.
