Evening guys. I've read the FAQ section of this particular topic before posting as pertaining to me being a Veteran.

I'll be brief on this, name is David. I'm 27 and served a little over 6 years with the Army. Last unit of Assignment was the 101st Airborne Div 3 BDE Rakkasans. I served under Col. Steele then under Col. Caricillo. who I know are both Rangers. Other Rangers I know of are CSM Camacho who is now I the DIV CSM for the 101st, it may have changed after I got out. But I was also under Former DIV CSM Grippe.

My last position that I did hold was NBC NCO with a combat engineer company or better yet, Sappers. I joined up in April 02 and served till June 13 08 when I was honorably discharged for mental health reasons. That there is a long story.

If I am correct on my former unit history till now, MG Campebell now runs the Division and CSM Patton is the Bde CSM for the Rakkasans. I've got a few reasons why I'm here and I'll explain it since this is your backyard. I'm interested in service with the Rangers and since no one in my family has ever done it I want to be the first one. I'm also looking for a few specific guys I served with in Iraq that are Rangers as well and from what I remember them telling me they were in Ranger BN too. As of right now, I'm living in Colorado going thru a sticky divorce living with family because I don't know anything about the area but at the same time I'm going thru the VA to get some things accomplished to get back in the Army.

Well I think I've covered everything, if I haven't my mistake and I'll correct it but thanks for your service to this country and off I go to find some Rangers I served with.
