Ruck Frame

Well I was looking on ebay earlier for a ruck to buy so I can get started rucking. I heard someone here say something about the Alice ruck, so I did a search and got a lot of results. My question is, most of the ones that I can afford say they come without a frame. What does this mean? Can I still use it without the frame? Thanks.

you need a ruck frame to support the weight against your body properly.

You can go to an Army/ Navy store and get a ruck ( alice pack and frame ) for less then $50.00 or a pawn shop near a military base.

Red, i am leaving for OSUT in 19 days, if you want i can sell you my frame for $15 plus S+H. I would sell you my alice too, but it is borrowed from a DS i know. It wouldn't be out my door until the 28th of this month. If you buy your alice now, i'm sure you would have enough money for the frame by then. I accept paypal, money orders, and cash.
