Weather here is....

Post by Jenny Lynn »

In the PAC NW, we are getting some unusually hot weather the last few weeks, I just noticed that for tomorrow it is forecasted to break 100:

Date High Low
7/28/09 Tuesday 99° F | 67° F
7/29/09 Wednesday 101° F | 65° F
7/30/09 Thursday 99° F | 58° F
7/31/09 Friday 90° F | 56° F
8/01/09 Saturday 86° F | 54° F

How is everyone else holding up where they are?

Don't know the exact numbers, but we are having a cooler and wetter week. Probably just a ploy by Mother Nature to make me notice the heat and humidity more next week in GA.

Ranger Oto-man,
I was wondering how long before I heard something from the South, I'm still waiting for a comment from someone in Okie?
May need to get down there to see the sister in the Clearwater area, when I do first pitcher is on me Ranger!

On a little side note, we had family members in from Buffalo,NY and Chicago for a cousin's wedding this past Saturday and they brought their dang humidity with them, I've been trying to send it back with them, Buffalo's been having our cooler, dryer weather :D

Cooler and drier than ever for northern Wis. The seven NW counties are in "severe" drought. Lake levels are down from 4 to 7 feet.

Saw a news report tonite that Chicago is already recording the coldest July on record since the weather station was moved inland from the lakeshore in 1942. Not a single day above 90 deg.

For us, it is hot as hell. Just riding home from work gets me drenched in sweat, and it is only a 17 min ride. I can't wait until this weekend, we are taking a 4 day and going up into the woods. Might even run around nekid.

It's been a strange summer in Utah. For the entire month of June and most of July, we had Seattle downpour/rain and cooler temperatures. We're back to normal now (low humidity and mid-90's), but for a while we were wondering if Summer was going to pass us by.

I have a brother and sister in the Seattle area and they're begging for us to ship up AC (Air conditioner) units -- seems they're tough to come by now up in the NW.

It was 104 F in the shade at my house (Bremerton) when I got home yesterday at about 4:30. I'm pretty sure it was even hotter around 2pm. I've definitely been in worse temperatures (and humidity) before, but nowhere I'd want to live.

Specifically: (typical conditions during my stay)
6. Ft. Leonard Wood, MO 95F, 95%+ humidity
5. Korea 95F, 95%+ humidity
4. Bagram AB, Afghanistan 120F, very dry
3. Oman 130F, very dry
2. Kuwait 140F, very dry

and number one: Qatar 130F in the shade with nearly condensing humidity

TC204, Humidity was pretty sticky here last weekend, this week it was hotter, dryer like AZ, Southern CA in the summertime, tonight seems like a cool breeze is coming through, I'm still thinking of going up into the mountains this weekend to cool off, maybe jump in a mountain stream or two or three.

Stay cool in Bostontown and vicinity, Jenny
