13F OSUT?

It has recently come to my attention that the MOS 13F (Fire Support Specialist), the MOS that I have, has OSUT.

However; according to the papers the nice guy at MEPS gave me about a month and a week or so ago, I have BCT at Ft. Knox, and then AIT at Ft. Sill.

Is this a mistake? Does not everyone go to OSUT? Could it be because of my Opt. 40 Contract?

Just wondering.

Not everyone goes through OSUT like me for instance.
Could just be a mistake at MEPS.
You might want to check with your recruiter and have him call MEPS.

For 13F's you can do basic training anywhere. Then all roads lead to Ft. Sill for AIT.

There is no OSUT for 13 series MOS's.
