Hello, my name is Daniel. I am 16 and I am home-schooled (I'm with a program that I will be able to get an actual HS diploma through), and I hope to be an Army Ranger some day.

I have a question about the Ranger Indoctrination Program. My question is:

What type of training goes on at RIP? I know that Ranger school is a 61 leadership course that trains soldiers in all the basics of small unit tactics, but what type of training goes on at RIP? Sorry for my ignorance but I couldn't find much about it on the internet.
Romans 3:23-25

" 23 all have sinned and are deprived of the glory of God.
24 They are justified freely by his grace through the redemption in Christ Jesus,
25 whom God set forth as an expiation, through faith, by his blood, to prove his righteousness because of the forgiveness of sins previously committed."

Just do a lot of sit-ups, pull-ups, long distance running and a whole lot more of that kind of stuff. If you think you've done enough, then do some more. This a very physically demanding life style, and if you don't start to mentally train yourself for the physical demands while you're in high school, you'll be a "no go" in a Ranger organization. Drive on kid...

Welcome Daniel

Now the bad news . . . your name - G.I. Joe refers to Government Issue Joe or typical military issue, since you are neither @ age 16 you'll need a name change. Send me a PM with a substitude name. Make it a non-military name. Only active duty personnel or veterans may have a name referring to say: G.I. Joe.

& when you graduate home schooling you may need extra school credits if you wanted to be a US Army Ranger. You can read that in recruitment forum but no doubt, you'll have to search.
