Civilian Intro
My name is Mike, I'm 24 years old, and I'm graduating from college in December. I've been lurking for a few months and finally got a profile specifically to participate in Ranger Nomad's daily workout thread. I have a lot of work to do, and that seems like the right place to start.
I'm currently getting my enlistment contract together with my recruiter, so I haven't signed anything yet.

so give us a little more, and tell us what you plan to enlist for. goals? MOS?

Ranger Disinfertention,
I thought long and hard about whether I wanted to enlist or go for a commission, and settled on enlisting. To the best of my understanding, I'll have more control over my career from the get-go as an enlistee in that I can select a MOS and any other options instead of being branched. Plus, I can always put in for a commission farther down the line if I want to.
As for the MOS I want, I've settled on 13f with an option 40.
