You are right about that. I envy you being a parent of a Ranger.

My son told me a couple of weeks ago he was thinking of joining the Army. I told him he was a pussy if he doesn't go Airborne.!

He is also always trying to show me how much better than me he is....and I have this secret desire that maybe he might meet Kilted Heathen one day...

That would really make me proud!

I was never a hero......I barely made it out of 7 years in the Army with my sanity!

But I knew some heroes!......and I will never forget them and what they did for me back in Vietnam.
