Democrats lied about the war? (OP/ED)

This is interesting. It is a youtube video of Pennsylvania Democrat Congressman Paul Jankorski admitting that the Democrats lied about what was going on in Iraq during the 2006 mid-term elections:

"I'll tell you my impression. We really in this last election, when I say we ... the Democrats ... that if we won the Congressional elections we could stop the war. Now anybody was a good student of government would know that wasn't true. But you know ... the temptation to want to win back the Congress ... we sort of stretched the facts, and the people ate it up."

A polotician(s) that lied and or mistated facts to get the result they wanted, not what the people wanted........ that is not news Brother, that is status quo.

Admitting it, that is news.
