There shouldn't be any issues. Do you have the contact information for the Regimental Recruiter that you spoke with?

If you have an approved waiver and the appropriate physicals, that's not going to be the issue. You are medically qualified.

Just wait until you receive your orders and report back to tell us if you got in

SFC Hit_it, my commander signed the waiver and my file is stamped airborne qualified and my PHULES is 11111, so I was thinking I should be fine. Just wanted to ask; when I first got here getting a packet submitted was all I could think of doing. I want it bad. My ERB says I should go to Ft. Lewis, but I don't know if Regiment overrides that. I will report back as soon as I have orders in hand.

Thanks for the responses.
If they are trying to recruit you then they have time.

At some point in the process before or during RIP, you'll get to submit your preference of battalion, the 'wish-list', but the needs of the Regiment will be the final arbiter.

Now go do more PT and build some calluses.

I thought colorblindness would give you a 2 in your PULHES, but the physician made it all 1s when I did the physical. Is that going to cause me any problems?

Also, I have the contact info for the Ranger Recruiter, but the website I saw said POC for Ranger Medic applications was the senior regimental medic. Who do I contact?

I recieved confirmation today that I'm going to be a holdover in Fort Sam until there's a slot in airborne school, so I'm going to RIP.
Very good. Please tell us what you have been doing to prepare yourself. Never, never quit!

Do lots more situps, pushups & pullups - all to regulation standard & better.
Run until you puke. The run some more.
But most of all, it'll be your attitude & spirit that determines if you make it, assuming you are at least in above average condition & strength.
Hope to see you announcing your RIP grad come autumn, Regiment always needs good medics.
